Changes to my study programme.

It is difficult to me to feel the university like something real 'cause i really don't like the virtual life and it's hard to me to feel part of the university under these conditions. So, i'm going to try to do my best to propose changes considering this modality. In first place, i think that every kind of change that we want to make in a future it has to be worked in a comunitary and triestamental way. That is to think about the changes not just for improve our learning as a students, but that the change will contribute to improve the university and territorial conditions. For that we have to learn and work with teachers, partners, faculty students and neighbors. In this line, it would be a contribution to increase the number of cross-cutting faculty courses and interdisciplinary work, as well as including elective courses that has as a part of their objectives to promote group work, community coexistence and search for new forms of evaluation that are not only written, but also encourage orality, visual production, artistic development and that includes the principles of social work not just like a ethereal idea but as a material work from our appreticeship and based on a feminist-community perspective. Respect of the infraestructure of university i can't say anything because just like my partners i don't have the opportunity to go to the campus, then i prefer do not make any evaluation because it doesn't be objective. Anyway, i hope that the changes in the study programme of our career will improve our development as a social workers and for the territorial community.

My future job

Sincerely, i'm not very sure about the ideal job for me. As social work has so many areas for development i couldn't choose just one of them. In first place, i would love to work in jail, specifically with women prisoners. I believe that the gender dimension is very relevant when women are deprived of their liberty both in their prison conditions and in the reason of their detention. I imagine that this work is very hard emotionally. On the other side, i would like to work out of the city with small communities. One time, i met a guy that was worked in a goberment program and his job consisted in found solutions with the communities for their problems. He was worked in Puerto Saavedra in the Araucanía. I would loved to work and travel at the same time, meeting people and their way of life. I'm not concerned about the sallary, i just want that i can afford to live well but i don't want to be millionary -and as a social work, it's impossible-. About the major, i'm studying social work but i think that we are always learning. Not just in universitys and stuff, but we learn from other people, or taking classes, from our friends, etc. And all that learning we can apply to our carrer.

i never thought i would study any social sciencie

When i was in high school i choose the artistic elective for the last two years. During those years we haved design, painting, drawing, theatre and dance classes. So, when i was finishing high school i was planning to study theater at university. In 2019 i entered to university UAHC to study theater and i haved a great time and was a space were i learned to many things but something didn't convince me and a few months later i left that career. During the rest of that year i was thinking very seriously what could i study cause i didn't have the oportunity to change of university and career never again. All what i knew was that i want a fairer society and to work directly with people and art. And thats how i knew that social work was my best option. Since i entered the career i have been very happy and confident in my decision. I feel i still have a lot to learn but i believe that my conviction will help me to become a great social worker. I look forward to meeting my colleagues soon and have a party in Juan Gómez Millas with the rest of the campus.

Only 3 reasons why my dog is cool

I adopted my dog in September 2020 when he was a puppy. I saw a facebook post from one girl saying that she and his friend, they had found a lost puppy in the street. In the same day i went to the center of city to look for it and as soon as i saw it he jumped to my arms and kissed my face. His name is panda and here are three reasons why he is cool.

1.- He was run over and his not died. A few weeks ago Panda scaped from home and unfortunely he was run over by a car. It was a very serious and sad accident but fortunately he survived and is recovering very well.

2.- He smiles for pictures. Obviously i didn't teach him and i don´t why he smiles for the camera but i have pictures from Panda smiling. Maybe he think he is a model.

3.- He makes me and my family very happy. Panda is a very special and funny dog, he's always cheerful and moving his tail. Sometimes he makes a mess, but who doesn´t? He always have their patitas and languetazos for us.

Backpacking with my friends

My best vacation ever was in 2019 summer, i go with my friends Fernanda, Domi and Thiare. We where to perú and Ecuador, and after we went to Bolivia and we got together with other friends. Our backpacking trip lasted a little over a month. After working a lot to get money, we finally took the plane from Santiago to Iquique, there we hitchhiked to Arica. In Arica we stayed a few days at a friend's house. There we go to the beach and go dancing to the disco's. To cross to Perú we took a a bus that left us in Tacna, we have lunch there. The rest of the trip, we headed north to reach Ecuador, but we went through many towns in Perú. In ecuador we went to Guayaquil and Montañita, and we started the trip back to Bolivia. There we stayed in Oruro to enjoy the carnival. This trip is the best i ever had 'cause i go with my friends and i was my first time backpacking for a long time, and i meet many people and cultures. I would love to continue traveling like this!

Colombia. A country i would like to visit.

 If i could go to any country in the world, i would like to go to Colombia. For a long time, I've been interested in their culture and their biodiversity. In particular, i would like to participate from Barranquilla carnival and visit the mountains and depht of Amazona's jungle. 

Regarding what i know about Colombia, in first place, i think its important to remove prejudices about violence, drug trafficking and others. Colombia is a country with a wonderfull cultural value, from where important works and artists have emerged, such as Gabriel García Márquez. Or Shakira for the rimboseras. 

However, i'm not interested to study in Colombia. I would love to live for a while and enjoy the landscapes and beautiful people... and dance reggaeton.

To finish, i would also enjoy having a delicious coffee from the area.
